About

About Me

As a clinical counsellor and educator I am dedicated to helping my clients navigate this wonderful, yet complex thing we call life and the relationships that encapsulate it.

My approach to therapy is grounded in the belief that the relationships we have with ourselves, the people in our lives as well as the environments we spend the most time in all play a pivotal role in our health, happiness and ability to thrive. I refer to this as Relational Living which acknowledges the interconnectedness of our relationships and our well-being.

I am an integrative therapist with a heightened sense of intuition, immense compassion and a genuine interest in your story. This means that I draw from a variety of modalities as well as my own knowledge and instincts to best meet your individual needs. My main priority is to understand you by uncovering the roots to your story. Through collaborate conversation we will explore the connections and disconnections within the context of your life's narrative to find the answers needed for meaningful, lifelong changes.

Areas of Realtional Living

Living relationally means acknowledging the interconnectedness of our relationships and our well-being.

Relationship with Self

The most important relationship you will ever have is the one you have with yourself. How we treat ourselves is often a reflection of how we allow others to treat us and, is directly related to how we feel. I help people strengthen their relationship with themselves through self-exploration. Together, we can dig deeper into your thoughts, emotions, and behaviours so that you can develop a deeper understanding of, and a more positive relationship with, your authentic self.

Together we can work on:

  • Creating a healthier inner dialogue

  • Learning self-compassion

  • Exploring early narratives

  • Overcoming self-abandonment

  • Developing self-worth

  • Exploring attachment styles & wounds

  • Building confidence

  • and more...

Friends in Nature

Relationships with Others

The relationships that we have with other people in our lives play an important role in our overall well-being. Such relationships can take many forms including intimate partnerships, friendships, relationships with family members as well as professional relationships with coworkers. Each of these can bring us joy, fulfillment, and support, but can also be a source of stress and conflict. Together we can explore your relational patterns and build positive relationships with the most important people in your life.

Together we can work on:

  • Building effective communication skills

  • Learning conflict resolutions strategies

  • Setting boundaries

  • Discovering tools to help foster meaningful connections

  • Uncover unhealthy relational dynamics

  • and more...

Living Room

Relationship with Spaces

I am a firm believer that the physical spaces we inhabit can have a big impact on our mental health. The environments where we spend most of our time can not only impact on our mood and energy levels but can also influence our ability to relax and recharge. Whether you are struggling with clutter at work, feeling overwhelmed with maintaining a home, or simply interested in creating a more nurturing and supportive living space, we can work together to explore the relationships you have with your physical spaces and how to make them into personal oases .

Together we can work on:

  • Learning organization skills to help declutter

  • Identifying habitual behavioural patterns contributing to stress

  • Exploring ways to create a more harmonious and peaceful living space

  • Designing spaces that supports emotional and psychological well-being

  • Creating environments that enhance your ability to connect with yourself and others
